Jill Chiacchia
Jill Chiacchia is the Founder and Director of beHealthy Institute, a Certified Health Coach and a Member of the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. Jill received her health and nutrition training in New York City at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, which is the only nutrition school that integrates all the different dietary and lifestyle theories – combining the knowledge of traditional philosophies with modern concepts. She is a former CPA with a Masters in Finance and is also a NYS Licensed Insurance Broker. Jill was the Vice President of Finance & Human Resources at a mid-sized manufacturing facility before finding her true calling in health and nutrition. Jill works with individuals, families and groups to guide them toward a healthy lifestyle. Recognizing that there is no “one perfect way” of eating or living that works for everyone, she effectively coaches her clients to enjoyable lifestyle choices beyond calories, carbs, and fats. A wife and mother of four children, Jill understands the challenges of nourishing a family and living a healthy lifestyle in a busy world.
Holly Maloney
Holly is a Registered Nurse, a Parish Nurse, a Birth Doula, a Reiki Practitioner, and a Yoga Instructor. Holly received her yoga training at the Himalayan Institute and received her 200 hour yoga certificate in 2013. Holly currently works for Trinity Church as a Congregational Minister, primarily working with families, youth and children. She has taught yoga at the Himalayan Institute, Trinity Church, Boces, the Girl Scouts, and loves to teach informal yoga by the water. She has practiced a variety of styles of yoga in a variety of studios and has her own home practice. Holly has always had a passion for healing, starting her career as an RN at Children’s Hospital, and then obtaining certifications in alternative healing modalities, always searching for new ways to find the balance of body, mind and spirit. Holly lives in the Elmwood Village and has 3 grown children.
Arup Bhattacharya
Arup completed his BSc in Microbiology and MSc in Biophysics from the University of Bombay and PhD from Roswell Park Cancer Institute under SUNY at Buffalo, NY. He did his MA in psychology from Annamalai University. Arup studied at the British Institute of Homeopathy and at the International Academy of Classical Homeopathy (George Vithoulkas). From 1992 until 1999, he was Director and the main spirit behind the Centre for Homeopathic Cure, Dombivili, near Mumbai (Bombay), India. He was involved in training and teaching homeopathy and now continues that passion in North America. Currently he lives in Buffalo, NY, USA and he teaches and practices classical homeopathy. He conducts regular seminars on live case talking, follow-up and case management with advanced practitioners. He also holds a Research Faculty appointment at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Julia Kress
Julia A Kress started her yoga practice with the Himalayan Institute of Yoga Science and Philosophy in 1990. Soon she moved to the ashram in Honesdale, PA to intensify her studies through immersion of the life style. There she learned the subtle art of yoga therapy through working with various populations and the science of Ayurveda through working in the vegetarian kitchen and The Center for Health and Healing.
She has her E-RYT 500 hour certification, BA in Exercise Science, Certified Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist, and is currently working towards her advanced AYS program.
Linda Ellson
Linda Ellson, president and owner, of Feng Shui Your World is a Certified Classical Feng Shui Practitioner and Licensed Realtor®. She is a graduate of the American School of Classical Feng Shui and has been a student of metaphysical and spiritual studies for over 23 years. Having practiced both Western and Classical Feng Shui, Linda helps clients achieve enhanced results with the classical approach. Experienced in residential and workplace Feng Shui, Linda consults in a variety of settings and assists clients both in their existing spaces and in selecting a new home or office space, providing comprehensive services throughoutNorth America. Liz Maute
Elizabeth Maute is a Yoga Alliance certified 200 hour RYT Hatha Yoga Instructor, receiving her training in 2007 at the Center at Healing Waters in East Aurora, NY. Inspired by a mix of different yogic traditions and teachers, Liz teaches variety of Hatha, Vinyasa/Power, Yin, Ashtanga, and Anusara styles woven together. Classes are tailored to all levels of ability. Even the very beginners to a yoga practice will be at ease in her weekly classes.
In 2014 Elizabeth became a Wellness Advocate and Independent Consultant for doTERRA essential oils. She has found the essential oils to have positive therapeutic benefits in a yoga practice and in her personal overall wellness. Sara Scharf
Sara has been practicing yoga for 15 years. Initially, the physical benefits drew her to yoga – strengthening, toning, flexibility – but the mental and spiritual aspects of the practice are what made her want to teach. She wanted to share the calm centering and awareness of the present moment that accompany asana. She completed 200 HR teacher training at the Himalayan Institute in Buffalo in 2016. Her current focus is teaching restorative and gentle yoga based on traditional Hatha principals.
Molly McDermott
Molly McDermott, Certified Hatha Yoga Instructor, Certified Prenatal & Postpartum Yoga Instructor, Birth doula/birth services provider and educator
Molly has been teaching yoga for the past 5 years. She trained at Center at Healing Waters in East Aurora, NY. She began her yogic path in 2005 upon moving to East Aurora after a significant life changing event. She began teaching hatha yoga after her training, which eventually led into being certified in prenatal yoga and providing other services to pregnant and postpartum women, as well. Molly teaches a variety of yoga classes, including gentle and all level, as well as prenatal and postpartum. Raising two children on her own for many years, Molly found peace, stability and strength by bringing yoga into her life and felt a passion to share the benefits with others.
Terry Beck
Choreographer, dancer and Acupuncture Practitioner Terry Beck has been practicing T’ai Chi for over 30 years. In addition to choreographing and performing world-wide, Mr. Beck has been teaching T’ai Chi in the US and abroad for over 20 years. He is a licensed acupuncture practitioner, earning his Master Degree from The Traditional Acupuncture Institute in Laurel, Maryland. Additionally, Terry is also a Shiatsu Massage Therapist, trained and certified by the International School of Shiatsu in Doylestown, PA, and NADA AcuDetox Specialist.
