Slow Flow Restorative Yoga with Erin Wodzinski

Mondays & Wednesdays 9:30 – 10:45 AM

Start your morning with a soulful exploration inward and mindful movement of your body. Each class will begin with a guided meditation followed by slow flow yoga sequences infused with somatic exercises. We will conclude each practice with restorative postures to release your body and mind.

Somatic exercise is a very powerful practice. Movement combined with breath work deliberately wakes areas of your brain to communicate with specific body systems and organs.  Somatic exercises help to increase your overall body awareness, range of motion and ability to release into relaxation. The practice involves movement sequences that activate and then relax specific muscle groups, resulting in improved overall balance and coordination.

Erin completed her 200-hour teacher certification in 2019 and has been teaching yoga since her completion. As a former dancer, movement practice has always been an important part of her life. Through her journey of learning more about yoga and its variations she discovered the many benefits of somatic exercise. Erin inspiration comes from a deep desire to share and educate others about the benefits of a mindful movement practice.
