Mary Dylik began her yoga journey more than 15 years ago, when she started practicing as a low-impact way to cross-train and aid muscle recovery from long-distance cycling. She found much more than just a way to stretch! She found a way for anyone to maintain a strong body, but more importantly – a strong and flexible mind. In 2007, Mary completed a one semester class offered through Hilbert College and the Himalayan Institute focusing on the philosophy of yoga. She completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training at the Sivananda Ashram in Woodbourne, NY in 2013 and has taught regularly in East Aurora since graduation. In 2018, Mary completed the 500-hour teacher training program at the Himalayan Institute in Buffalo, NY. Mary is also a graphic designer. She resides in Hamburg with her husband Jason, and energetic dog Mickey.
