Deepening Yoga and Meditation with Julia – Full 7 Week Series
This is a seven week series that will progressively guide you towards a deeper understanding and experience yoga asana, pranayama and meditation. Our body is affected greatly by alignment and focusing techniques with asana that move prana and establish a strong connection to the innate energy of life. Pranayama practice alters our subtle experience of this life force bringing a powerful calm to the nervous system. Meditation is the most profound of all experiences as it brings us closer to the “body of truth” and gives us the opportunity to be one with our deep conscious mind.
This class will give you the essential tools for setting up a meditation practice and will include philosophical content to support the work.
You will be shown a useful step by step process of choosing and settling into a comfortable seated position, breathing techniques to establish awareness and relaxation, and concentration methods for harnessing the energies of the mind to progress in the practice.
The work presented is based on the Himalayan Institute of Yoga Science and Philosophies’ meditation teaching methods.

The LIVE ZOOM classes are held Wednesdays, January 27th through March 17th, 2021 at 5:00 – 6:00 pm.
