Kim Jackson: {be} Contributor
Kim is a Contributor to {be} since 2016 and has 30 years combined experience in business and project management, events and hospitality, marketing and media relations. Currently employed at M&T Bank as a Quality Control Operations Associate headquartered in Buffalo, NY, she also works for the Buffalo Bills as a Bills Stadium Tour Guide and Game Day Ambassador. She has lived in Hamburg for 20 years raising two daughters both graduating in 2022.
Inspiration: I find inspiration in people that make a difference in our community therefore I join forces with individuals and organizations to ‘give back’ which fills my heart and suits my personality. Whether organizing galas or volunteering, it is part of my life and strengthens my purpose. I know this is a Divine gift and makes me who I am today. The tri{be} is a big part of my purpose. We are all connected to one another working toward a common purpose.
Favorite Things: I have a t-shirt that says, “My favorite season is football.” I love Buffalo and the Bills. I have attended every Super Bowl so I am hoping this is our year. I find Buffalo so beautiful with our Seasons. You will easily find me on any WNY trail to quiet my life and ground my energy. For me, it is the quiet things that regenerate my soul. Whatever makes me happy is what I do.
Nourishment: I study theology and I also study the stars and planets. I like to know about different religions and cultures, and I find the cosmos breathtaking. It is impossible for me not to dream when I stargaze. Just recently a falling star landed right before my eyes and I was literally star struck. Carl Jung’s quote sums up my fascination and curiosity, “In all chaos there is a cosmos, in all disorder a secret order.”
